• Pour 50 mL of tomato juice in a non-graduated test tube placed under a hood.
• Slowly add 50 mL of a dibromo-saturated aqueous solution.

CAUTION : A dibromo-saturated aqueous solution must be manipulated under a hood, wearing gloves and safety goggles. One should have a sodium thiosulfate aqueous solution at hand when manipulating dibromo.
