• Solution A : Dissolve 0.1g of luminol into 400 mL of water, then add 5 mL of a 10% sodium hydroxide aqueous solution.
• Solution B : Dissolve 1.5g of potassium hexacyanoferrate into 400 mL of water, then, at the last moment, add 3 mL of 30% oxygenated water.
• Pour simultaneously solutions A and B into a non-graduated test-tube (using a funnel), at the bottom of which you have put a few crystals of potassium hexacyanoferrate.

  CAUTION : the 30% oxygenated water and 10% sodium hydroxide aqueous solutions must be manipulated wearing gloves and safety goggles.
